I am a Swiss photographer, born in Basel in 1972 and shaped by my Sicilian roots. Photography is a personal and independent pursuit a way of understanding people, places, and the moments that connect them.
I work mainly in black and white, removing distractions to focus on light, gestures, emotion, and timing. For me, the camera is not a barrier, but a bridge an invitation to look more closely and, sometimes, to enter another person’s world.
At the heart of my work is the long-term documentary project “In Their World.” Together with my friend Peter, I visit people in the places where they live and work. Drawn not by fame, but by passion, resilience, and dedication, I take time to build trust and look beyond first impressions for the quiet details that reveal dignity, character, and human connection.
